Meet Siddiqa Dahoo

Siddiqa Dahoo is the creator behind Siddiqa’s Little Library, a growing collection of children’s stories filled with imagination, kindness, curiosity and heart.
Inspired by childhood memories, family moments, big questions and the wonderfully unexpected ideas of children, Siddiqa creates stories designed to make young readers laugh, wonder, learn and feel seen.
Where the Stories Begin
Sometimes a story begins with a childhood memory. Sometimes with a question from one of my children, a drawing brought home from school, a family tradition, or an idea too funny not to explore.
That is how Siddiqa's Little Library has grown—one little idea at a time.
From stories about friendship, feelings and belonging to adventures through nature, culture and imagination, each book begins with something I want a child to discover, understand or simply enjoy.
Many of my books are available in both English and French, reflecting the multilingual world in which my own family lives and reads.
